Striker Hits the Disks

The National Carrom Tournament 2016 was held from 16th January to 14th February at Carrom Federation of Sri Lanka, Kohuwala with the participation of over 350 players. The tournament ended up by embracing the new generation of champions of Carrom history. The award ceremony of the tournament was successfully held at the Carom Federation of Sri Lanka on 18th February 2016.

MORA A wins the Millennium IT International Mora Sixes 2016

It was the day 2 of the Millennium IT International Mora Sixes 2016, six aside annual cricket tournament. Continuing successfully from the day one, it gave a great start for a successful end to the tournament.

MillenniumIT international Mora sixes 2016, the annual six a side Inter-university cricket tournament organized by the University of Moratuwa was able to draw the attention of hundreds of cricket fans to the university ground and the Day 1 ended in style.

Mora 7s 2015 - Inter-Collegiate Rugby Sevens Tournament

Mora Sevens 2015 - The Inter-Collegiate Rugby 7s tournament organized by University of Moratuwa rugby team for the 15th consecutive year was held at University of Moratuwa grounds on 10th December 2015 at 8 am on wards. As in previous years both state and private university teams of Sri Lanka participated for the battle to clinch the 7s glory. As per tradition these teams were fighting for the cup, bowl and the plate.

Bigger and Better | FIT Sixes 2015

FIT Sixes, the annual six-a-side softball cricket tournament organized by the Student Union of the Faculty of Information Technology of the University of Moratuwa, was held successfully this year on the 22nd of August at the University of Moratuwa grounds.

Colombo was a peaceful venue until yesterday. Even the recently held elections and it’s unexpected turnarounds did not trigger any violent acts in the peaceful city of Colombo. It all came to an end when few lads made their way into the Torrington grounds. Youngsters don in several coloured clothes and armoured with spiky boots in groups made their way into the grounds to take on each other.
